This page is pretty simple, although I used quite some materials.
The page already had some stencilled circles with black Acrylic paint. I stencilled some more circles with texture paste before spraying inks in warm colors like yellow, orange and red. To add some contrasting color I added blue Acryl mouse though a Tim Holtz stencil called Bubble Layering.
. The effect looks like bubble wrap.
In the middle of the page I added some white gesso to be able to add an image. When I was going though my stencils I found a round one that gave me the idea to trace half of it with Sakura gelly roll pens. The effect made me think of sun rays, dream catchers and zen. So I decided to draw a face in profile that seems to enjoy some rays.
As a finishing touch I drew a black and gold border to frame the pages.
